Heather Schwegler

About

Heather was born and raised in Woodstock, NY, and currently resides in Rosendale, NY. 

Her passion for painting & photography began 20 years ago with inspiration from Mother Nature. However, it was only after getting COVID that she dedicated more time to painting. With compromised lungs she was limited to activities that did not overexert her lungs; painting fit that rule, and so she painted daily. 

Heather loves to experiment with paint density and intricate color palettes. By changing the fluidity of full-bodied paints and adding a variety of components, she manipulates the texture, colors and paint effects on the canvas.  

This art form is called fluid acrylic painting. Heather believes this is where science meets art on a canvas.
