Artist Statement

For me, making paintings is a way to “see” an ever-changing world. A world with the possibility of “revelation”. I find joy in looking at completed paintings. They contain time and thought. We each have our own story to weave. Our own life to “see” I hope to demonstrate my experience and find others who see it as I do. To give heart to others who struggle as I do. We may not be able to master our own lives. But we can record our lives and learn from the process. Be changed by it. And in recognizing the change improve Improvement is Seeing something you have never seen before And recognizing it as your own.
