Exploring colors, line and form on canvas is my passion. I like to absent my thoughts from what my eye and hand are collaborating on to enter a trancelike state, wherein the canvas is a dream catcher recording subliminal material that may or may not represent objects or nature and may comprise patterns and symbols with whose source I may or may not be familiar. Experimenting with diverse materials such as cheese cloth, paper, fabric or modeling paste adhered to canvas leads me to move back and forth between styles. I am happy to be a member of Art Gallery 71 where I am allowed the freedom to present a variety of textural, high-key color pieces which I hope will give viewers the pleasure I have had in making them.
